Tell us about the makeup look for Falguni and Shane Peacock.
We are inspired by cyber rock and roll so we want to keep the skin looking über fresh on the cheeks, forehead and chin. On the runway you will see that the models will look rested with clear looking skin.

To coordinate well with the clothing collection we saw that there was a lot of clear acrylics in the clothing so we are putting a beautiful crystal clear gloss right on the eyelid.

And for the lips we are using a fantastic lip color called electric peach with a beautiful matte finish and it is going to accentuate the color that you see here and there in the collection. It is not matchy-matchy it is just a perfect complement to the clothes.

What are the makeup trends for Spring 2013?
This season there is a trend of neutrality in the makeup and as long as your skin is looking fantastic you can take a step back. For evening you can pop it up and choose to accentuate a bright lip or simply sport an eye balm on the eyelid. In the real world that is probably what you would do to interpret this look.

Tell us about the skincare products you are using today.
I am the co-founder and chief creator of the brand Veil Cosmetics. I am involved in every step from packaging to the color story and the branding. It is my baby and it’s a dream come true. It is light infused cosmetics which is a fusion of skincare and color science. It helps to eliminate dark spots and regulate melanin production. It deeply hydrates the skin and is hypoallergenic and dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested. That is why the skin is looking so ravishing today for Falguni and Shane Peacock.

MATTHEW CURTIS
UK Lead Stylist for TRESemmé
Title: Hair Stylist
Location: England

What was your inspiration for the unique hairstyle you are doing today?
The hair look has a sci-fi feel to it and it ties into the collection that has a lot of big bold shapes and metalics in it.  The whole feel of the collection was this whole supernatural idea that if a woman came to earth what would she look like.

How did you create the look?
To create the look we have slicked all of the hair down using Tresemmé gel. They are our sponsor today have been for the last two seasons for Falguni and Shane Peacock. Then we used a lot of elastics splitting the hair in half and then in half again creating a diamond veil shape that falls down into the nape of the neck.   We used Tresemmé split remedy hair serum on it to make sure that the strands that we sectioned didn’t separate. We also overloaded the hair with product so it stays more rigid and so that when we spray our shine spray on it will sit on the surface of a hard layer and create an even higher gloss feel as they walk down the runway.  There is the main look we are using on the models’ hair today.
