Tropical shades of yellow, green, and coral started off Tracy Reese’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection this season. Floral prints mixed with checked jackets, wool trucker hats and shoe booties kept lent to a sporty feel. Ankle cropped pants and inverted pleat skirts reigned supreme on bottom, while blouson tops, chunky knits, and sporty jackets were emphasized on top. Gold lame dresses and mini skirts introduced party perfect ensembles as the show came to an end.
The collection seemed to be disjointed at times with a disconnect in the flow and order of looks. However, I did enjoy the non-traditional fall color scheme mixed with quintessential winter touches of fur and wool.
