Like Valentine’s Day personified, colors of wine and blush stained luxurious silks and satins in Temperley London’s Resort 2013 collection. Old school Hollywood waves and a smokey eye; you almost feel like your looking at a french film. Crisp and simple fabrics keep this collection stylish and classic. Outrageous platform heels and wedges make these looks modern. Patterned wedges and ankle straps make these shoes a double hitter with two trends in one. A bold eye but nude face let the clothes speak for themselves.

The collection began with black, white, and red. Slim, floor length skirts and dresses were paired with wide brimmed hats, a look synonymous with the ’70’s. Tail hems on tops and dresses revealed an up and coming trend for Spring this season. Demure dresses with high necklines, full skirts, and long sleeves make these party dresses perfect for meeting the parents or keeping your feminine mystique. Dresses with alternating sheer and silk stripes make this collection come in at a total of four major trends in one single collection. The collection then transitions into creme and blush tones with accents of black. The silhouettes here are again humble with an ultra girly feel coming from bows and lace overlays. Silhouettes and details similar to the dresses your mom put you in as a child, but more sophisticated in rich fabrics and grown up accessories — perfect for when you want to look like the girl-next-door. Cooler shades of purples and blues end the collection on a more regal, grown up note. Jewels accent these silk dresses while smart tailoring makes them well suited to flatter hour glass shapes.
