A HEALTHY HEART IS ALWAYS IN FASHION
This photoshoot with Angela had been on my radar since she paid/donated to my Shoot for Change project over a year ago. It obviously took us a while to align our schedules and even the ideas for the photos changed several times – from Brad and Angelina’s “W” editorial to a Lana Del Rey inspired photo session to “I’m just going to wear a teeshirt and call it a day photoshoot.” In the end, Angela simply wanted to have photos with her two boys. These photos were taken just five weeks after she had open heart surgery. Angela had her ascending aorta replaced and a bicuspid heart valve repaired. These congenital heart defects were caught at exactly the right time and it is highly advisable to get an echocardiogram, especially if you have been diagnosed with a heart murmur or MVP.
Healthy hearts are always in fashion, regardless of season.
